STORY TIME 📖 Once upon a time there I was, wishing I didn’t have little toothpick legs!! Not only that, I wanted them to be strong 💪 At that time in my life I was struggling with pretty much everything, which resulted in me falling behind on bills and cancelling my gym membership 🤷‍♂️ . . . However, I still had goals!! I still had all these dreams I felt I NEEDED to pursue. It has always been more than a “want” for me. As I started working out seriously from home I kept hearing people say “You can’t actually make any progress that way” or the good old fashioned “You need weights bro or else you will lose all your muscle” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ . . . Fortunately for me I couldn’t afford a gym anyways, so even if I wanted to listen, I couldn’t 😂 So I stuck to my guns and HOLY MOLY am I glad I did. It’s been 3 years since I committed to this lifestyle and let me tell you something...I’m still strong. I still have muscle. And that’s WITH a butt load of cardio. So imagine if I ate more and cut my cardio in half?!?! I think you get it...😅 . . . Moral of the story...bodyweight training IS effective. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just too scared to #GetWithTheProgram 😉
