This is how we do whole plant foods for school lunch in our home. My two children each have a reusable lunch sack we wipe out between uses and I invested about $6 at the start of the year in two sets of a few reusable tupperware from the dollar store which allow me to pack nutritious meals like this while relying less on throw-away packaging. For drink it's either a real fruit juice box or reusable water bottle and I always make sure there's at least a couple pieces of fruit in the bag. Main course is leftover brown rice from dinner the night before and a can of beans (split between two so each gets 1/2). I dress up the rice and beans here with some organic arugula, cherry tomatoes, black pepper, and lime. Apple sauce and peanut-butter-filled pretzels are easy snacks as my children have a couple snack times one during and one after school. Have you roasted any chickpeas lately? This is one I highly recommend. Simple, easy, and you can make them to suit your tastes. Here’s what I used in this batch.... “Cheesy” Chickpeas Ingredients: 2 cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1/4 cup nutritional yeast Directions: Preheat oven to 400. Dry rinsed and drained chickpeas and remove any loose pieces. Mix spices and nutritional yeast, then toss chickpeas in the mixture, making sure to coat well. Place on a baking sheet and bake 45 minutes, tossing every 15 minutes. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes and enjoy! Serves 3-4

Lo primero para poder mover más peso de manera segura usando mancuernas es saber cómo exactamente patear las mancuernas hacia la posición inicial.⠀ ⠀ Digo patear, porque literalmente vas a estar usando tus piernas para impulsar las mancuernas y aprovechar el impulso para llevarlas hasta "lockout", que es la posición donde tus codos están completamente extendidos y por encima de tus hombros.⠀ ⠀ Entonces, pateas las mancuernas y al mismo tiempo te tiras hacia el Bench para crear un huevo de impulso.⠀ ⠀ Aprovechas este impulso para empujar las mancuernas hacia la posición inicial y extender tus codos.⠀ ⠀ Lo siguiente a notar es que, al bajar las mancuernas, tus codos están bien pegados a tu cuerpo.⠀ ⠀ Un error común es botar tus codos hacia afuera (en una "T"). Esto no nos gusta porque pone muy en riesgo tus hombros y codos.⠀ ⠀ Mantén tus codos pegados a tu cuerpo (tucked), y tus muñecas en diagonal, con tus pulgares mirando hacia tí. Este es el grip bastante natural y cómodo.⠀ ⠀ Notá también que las mancuernas no descienden en línea recta.⠀ ⠀ Tal cual sucede en un #Barbell #BenchPress, las mancuernas bajan en una línea ligeramente diagonal hacia tu pecho.
